Resources for children and families

Women, Infants and Children (WIC)
Are you pregnant or nursing? Do you have children five years old or younger? You may be able to get nutrition information and free, healthy food for yourself and your children. Call 1-800-Safenet or visit www.oregon.gov/DHS/ph/WIC if you live in Oregon or www.doh.wa.gov/cfc/WIC for information about Washington State.

Meal programs for children
Several federal and state programs provide school breakfast, school lunch and summer meals to children. To learn about the programs, find out if your child is eligible and learn how to apply, contact 211 info by dialing 2-1-1 or by visiting www.211info.org
